| Bellabox Opening - December 2013 |
I was so glad to hear that Bellabox would be making it's way to me before Christmas. The problem is that it sat with Australia Post for a week! I know it's near Christmas but I think that's a little excessive. So this post is very late.

Bellabox had a limited number of Benefit POREfessional samples to give out this month so I had my fingers crossed, but I wasn't lucky enough to receive one. I don't think it's right to advertise that they have teamed up with Benefit and then only send a few members Benefit products. I also thought being December they would have done a Christmas themed box, however that was not the case.

Aurora Spa Vanilla & Honey Lip Moisturiser (Full Size 10ml) = $25.00
This has a very slight scent and a very thick gel like consistency. I have worn and I do really like it. It leaves your lips soft and moisturised and they don't feel dry after it has worn off. I think $25.00 is a little steep for a lip moisturiser so I'm not sure if I would repurchase, but I will enjoy it while I have it.

Nuxe Nirvanesque Cream (Sample Size 15ml = $14.98*) = Full Size 50ml = $49.95
A moisturiser that is said to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and has some pretty good reviews. I am looking forward to trying this and it is a decent sized sample. No overpowering scent which is good, just a clean/natural scent. Also contains 80% natural ingredients.

| Avene Cream for Redness |
Redness is an issue I have so I'm willing to try any product that claims to reduce it. I haven't heard anything about this so I'm interested to see if it does work.

Romy Eucalyptus & Lemongrass Body Lotion (Sample Size 40ml = $3.99*) Full Size 300ml = $29.99
This reminds me of a sample you would find in a hotel bathroom. Eucalyptus & Lemongrass are not really my kind of scent notes so I think I will pass this sample along.

It applies well and once it is set it doesn't budge. I'm just not a fan of the colour. But I will have to experiment with how it works with other eyeshadows and perhaps it would work as an accent colour.

They are nice to take away travelling and it's great to try out a few different things from one brand. It's just that with 5ml samples of each I don't think you can really test a skincare item properly. I think here I would have preferred one 20ml item to try.

MOR Essentials Hand Cream - Neroli Clementine (Sample Size 3ml = $0.56*) Full Size 80ml = $14.95
You only need a small amount of this hand cream as it is thick. It does sink in quickly and doesn't leave a residue on the hands. I don't mind the scent but it wouldn't be my first choice. To me it smells powdery and like citrus. The scent contains candied Orange so that's where the citrus comes from. I would like to try this in another scent, perhaps the ever popular marshmallow scent.

Even with the price of all the samples in this months box I thought that the samples were on the smaller side this month. A lot of the products were skincare this month. I think this month it was okay but nothing overly exciting.

I'm not subscribed to BB but although there were a lot of products in this months box, i agree with you that they were small, especially receiving 5 sachets (which i don't think anyone enjoys receiving!)!

DeleteI love how you calculate the prices Mel & I love the images for this post. The Christmas decor really adds something to the images...I liked this month's box - It was a lot better than last month's contents. The canvas bag is cute, although I'm not sure what use I'll have for it.

Thank you Sunshine! I'll take any opportunity to make something Christmassy ;) What items did you get in your Bellabox? Were they different? I think the bag would be cute for the beach and just to hold a few groceries, nothing to heavy though.

I've heard good things about the Nuxe cream as well so I want to try that as well.
